Dr James Spicer PhD MRCP
Senior Lecturer, Cancer Studies Division, Kings College London. Honorary Consultant in Medical Oncology, Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals.
Dr Spicer trained at several major London teaching hospitals including the Royal Brompton, Hammersmith, St George's and the Royal Marsden. He has a PhD in cancer biology from the Institute of Cancer Research in London, and a degree in biochemistry from the University of Oxford.
Dr Spicers clinical and research interests include lung cancer and other chest malignancies, as well as trials of new anti-cancer drugs. He is a member of the CRUK Phase I/II Committee and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
Dr Spicer was the recipient of the 2004 Association of Cancer Physicians McElwain Prize.
