Jeremy Whelan MD FRCP

Consultant Medical Oncologist University College London Hospitals. 

Dr Whelan specialises in the treatment of bone and soft tissue sarcomas.  In addition he is an expert in the care of teenagers and young adults with cancer, managing the largest teenage cancer service in Europe. He is the current chairman of the Childrens Cancer and Leukaemia/National Cancer Research Institute bone sarcoma research group, and is responsible for an extensive clinical research programme for sarcomas.  He is a chief investigator of the international randomised study for osteosarcoma, EURAMOS 1, currently running in Europe and the United States.
