Dr Christopher Gallagher BSc PhD FRCP

Consultant Medical Oncologist 

Dr Chris Gallagher  specialises in the treatment of patients with Breast and Ovarian cancers and the management of Cancers of Unknown Primary. He is particularly interested in developing new diagnostic methods and treatment strategies. He leads several clinical trials of new drugs in breast and ovarian cancer treatment and is active in developing patient safety and survivorship programmes.

Dr Gallagher is Past Cancer Services Clinical Director and Lead Clinician in Medical Oncology at Barts and the London NHS Trust, secretary of the Association of Cancer Physicians,  committee member of the Royal College of Physicians joint speciality committee for oncology, and the joint council for clinical oncology, the NCRI gynaecological cancer trials committee, and the CRUK clinical trials awards advisory committee.
